			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>After a long work week at the office commuting from my downtown vancity condo, to the suburbs of Richmond and fitting in a 90 minute workout session 5 days a week after work, all I want to do in the weekend especially on a Sunday is to relax. That doesn’t mean sit on the couch all day eating potato chips watching “The Real Housewives of wherever.” I would go for a jog, do yoga, take a dance class. Being healthy, fit, eating clean and maintaining a great physique all year round is the lifestyle I chose. I find exercising an escape and a way to clear my mind. Working out 7 days a week became a routine. </p>
<p>Today, I made up a new workout called Tone It Up! It is a full body circuit strength training routine. I used light weights and high reps. Do this workout 3 to 4 days and you will TONE IT UP! You can also do this exercise at home. All you need is a bench and 10-15lb. dumbbells to start toning up!</p>
<p><strong>The Workout</strong><br />
<em> Do 3 sets, no rest in between exercises and 90 second rest between each set.</em><br />
 Seated Shoulder Press 20<br />
 Shoulder Front Raises 20<br />
 Lunges with dumbbells 30<br />
 Bentover rows with dumbbells 20<br />
 Tricep Dips 20<br />
 Alternating Bicep Curls 30<br />
 Push-ups 15-20<br />
 Squats with dumbbells over shoulders 15<br />
 Bentover Reverse Flyes 15<br />
 Seated Ab Leg Raises with feet holding a 5lb-10lbs dumbbell 10-15<br />
 Oblique Twist with Medicine Ball 30</p>
<p><em>Rest 90 seconds and do 2 more sets</em></p>
<p>After the 3 sets, here’s the icing. Try doing chin-ups/pull-ups<br />
 End the workout with 20 minutes on the elliptical and stretch!</p>
<p>Sunday workout done! Tone it up!</p>

<p>Do you really want to know the secret to losing belly fat? There are many misconceptions on the best way to lose belly fat. If you are doing 500 crunches a day and oblique twists thinking that it will shrink your waist, please stop. Crunches will strengthen your stomach muscles, but won&#8217;t burn the belly fat that covers your abs. You&#8217;re wasting time &#038; effort by doing 500 daily crunches.</p>
<p>So what is the secret? Here are the 5 best and simple natural ways to lose your belly fat:</p>
<p>1. <strong>Eat Healthy</strong>

Born in Vancouver raised in Manila, Philippines. Fitness has always been a part of her life since she was a little girl. Mitzi played tennis, trained in ballet and ice skating. She was also in competitive gymnastics since she was 7. Little did she know that training for sports was the beginning of her fitness journey. Her love for health and fitness grew and she chose a career in the fitness field  to help motivate people into living the fit lifestyle by sharing her knowledge and experience in nutrition, weight loss, pain management, body sculpting and fitness training.</p>
<p>Mitzi is also the General Manager and Fitness Program Advisor of Razor Fitness in Richmond, BC. She is also an entrepreneur and a private dance pilates instructor for women.</p>

Born in Fiji, raised in Vanvouver  BC, Merlyn has received many accolades regarding her dance performances. She never expected her passion for dance to become sought out entertainment for Indian functions and festivals.  Perhaps it was her obsession of dance that is the secret of her success.<br />
Merlyn has been dancing on stage for the past fifteen years but truly started dancing when she was eight years old at home and gatherings. Influenced by the great Bollywood icon, Helen, Sridevi and other Bollywood stars of the 70s and 80s, Merlyn started mimicking their moves and perfected their dance sequences from their films. Dancing became a part of Merlyn’s daily life.  The popularity of Merlyn’s performances spread and she was in demand to perform at local South Asian events. Still with no formal training, Merlyn began teaching and choreographing not only for herself, but for members in her community as well. Merlyn Began teaching herself all forms of dance; Bollywood Style (Filmi and a variety of Indian Classical dance forms such as Bharata Natyam and Tandav), Post Modern, Bhangra, Hip-hop, Belly Dancing, Salsa and Jazz. Ultimately diversity in learning a surplus of dance forms had given Merlyn a multifaceted style of Bollywood Dancing. Through her active involvement in charity shows, dance contests and festivals,  Merlyn was acknowledged by the India based dance show Boogie Woogie. She was offered a judge position for the Vancouver auditions with the finals held in Toronto.  </p>
